Parent company, FINCANTIERI, has recently completed a $26 million capital expansion plan for the FBS facility including a new floating drydock, computer-aided manufacturing equipment, and climate-controlled manufacturing facilities.

FBS's dredging experience dates back almost 100 years, and includes a wide range and variety of vessels. Among its most recent contracts, FBS has completed a state-of-the-art, 17-cubic-yard backhoe dredge; a 24-inch self-contained cutterhead dredge; a 5,000-cubic-meter double-trailing drag arm suction dredge; and a 7,100-cubic-yard split-hull dump scow.
